Daily Expenses is developed and operated by Mengs Units. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the information you manage through the Daily Expenses application.

Daily Expenses does not require your personal transaction history to be uploaded to a Mengs Units server in order to use the app's core features.

4. Receipt Images

Daily Expenses allows you to optionally attach receipt images to transactions.

When you choose a receipt image:

• You select the image yourself.
• The app may copy the selected image into Daily Expenses' private application storage.
• The image is used to support the transaction record you created.
• The app does not automatically upload the receipt to our servers.
• You can remove or replace receipt attachments where the feature is available.

Deleting a transaction may also remove the private receipt file associated with that transaction.

5. Photos and Files

Daily Expenses may use Android's system photo picker, document picker, or similar operating-system functionality when you choose to:

• Attach a receipt
• Import financial data
• Export data
• Create a backup
• Restore a backup

The app does not require unrestricted access to all files or photos on your device for normal use.

You control which files you select.

6. Accounts and Registration

Daily Expenses does not require an online account for its main functionality.

You are not required to provide:

• Your full name
• Phone number
• Email address
• Social media account
• Online banking credentials

in order to use the app's core personal expense-tracking features.

7. PIN and Biometric Protection

Daily Expenses may provide optional security features including:

• PIN protection
• Biometric authentication
• Automatic app locking
• Privacy-related display settings

If you enable biometric authentication, the authentication process is handled by Android and your device's biometric system.

Daily Expenses does not receive or store your actual:

• Fingerprint
• Face scan
• Iris data

Security-related information may be protected using Android Keystore and other Android security mechanisms.

8. Backup and Restore

Daily Expenses may allow you to create and restore manual backups.

Backups are created only when you choose to use the backup feature.

Mengs Units does not automatically upload your manual backup files to its own servers.

Once you export or save a backup outside the app's private storage, you are responsible for protecting that file.

Daily Expenses may support importing or exporting data using formats such as CSV or application backup files.

Import and export operations happen when you initiate them.

Exported files may become accessible to other apps, services, or people depending on where you choose to save or share them.

You should avoid sharing exported financial information with people or services you do not trust.

10. Notifications

Daily Expenses may use notifications for features such as:

• Recurring transaction reminders
• Other financial reminders

On Android versions that require notification permission, the app may ask you to grant permission before notifications are shown.

Backup and exported files remain wherever you saved them until you delete those files yourself.

19. Delete All Data

Daily Expenses may provide an option to delete locally stored application data.

Depending on the features enabled, deletion may include:

Deleting local app data does not automatically delete copies that you previously exported, shared, or backed up elsewhere.

Daily Expenses does not automatically share your financial information with Mengs Units or other companies as part of the app's core offline functionality.

Information may leave the app only when you choose to perform an action such as:

Because the main financial information is stored locally on your device, Mengs Units does not routinely transfer your personal financial records internationally through its own servers as part of the app's core functionality.
